Gretsch Brooklyn Walking Tour Part 6
On June 18, 2011 Fred Gretsch and Joe Carducci gave a walking tour of the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, including various Gretsch buildings, culminating with a visit to the 10-story Gretsch factory at 60 Broadway.
Only about a dozen people were able to take the tour — including rockabilly artist Paul Pigat and Rocky from Street Sounds. Paul Shannon — “Redrocker” on the GDP — recorded the events and stories for the rest of us.

This impromptu meeting wouldn’t have been as good if it were planned, amazing end to a perfect day.
Amazing would be the best word to describe it for me — I think there might be an extra bill or two this Christmas for the doorman at the Gretsch Building who rang me up that Saturday and said, ‘Adam, there’s somebody from the Gretsch family up on the roof that I think you might want to meet…” AD
Loved watching it Adam, also love your collection as well Regards David Roberts (UK)
