Gretsch Brooklyn Walking Tour Part 2
On June 18, 2011 Fred Gretsch and Joe Carducci gave a walking tour of the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, including various Gretsch buildings, culminating with a visit to the 10-story Gretsch factory at 60 Broadway.
Only about a dozen people were able to take the tour — including rockabilly artist Paul Pigat and Rocky from Street Sounds. Paul Shannon — “Redrocker” on the GDP — recorded the events and stories for the rest of us.

I was one of many unknown persons who visited that building (60, Broadway) on a Saturday morning, back in the Spring of 1965; what I remember the most is seeing a row of finished guitars on a rack, like the picture featured on the 1967 album : “It’s a Guitar World”. Thanks to Mr Fred Gretsch and Joe Carducci
