Modern Streamliners

Not to be confused with the already confusing Streamliner models of 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s, the modern Streamliners comprised an all-new line of guitars priced below the Electromatic line. While they retained familiar Gretsch styling, the relatively inexpensive new models were designed to bring new players to the brand. They were offered in both center block and full hollow bodies and included the new BroadTron humbucker.

The Gretsch-GEAR database includes six different models and eight examples in the Modern Streamliners family, including Streamliner Center Block, Streamliner Center Block Jr. and Streamliner Hollowbody models.
