Modifications

Kluson waffleback tuners, and new tune-o-matic bridge. The original bridge was sunk in the middle. Refretted with medium jumbo frets as the originals were all worn out. The input jack has been reinforced with at brass plate.

Unusual factory features

This guitar has humped block fretboard markers, a feature that was not introduced till late 1954. Most probably This guitar went back to the factory for a reneck, as it was the case with many mid-fifties Jets.
