Modifications

The distortion effect quit working in the 80s. I had it removed and the guts rewired like a LesPaul: 2 tone and 2 volume. The distortion switch is still on the panel and I had it made into a coil tap for both pick ups.

Unusual factory features

There was a distortion effect built into the chrome control panel. There was no phaser like some of the later Super axes. Everything else you see is stock, except the covers were removed from the Dimarzio humbuckers. This is not a 7680. The decal inside says model 7640, which i can't find a record of anywhere. This is a semi hollow body guitar (like an ES-335) but has no F holes.
