This is my second Gretsch, and my first from the Pro Line. I was bitten by the Gretsch bug in 2018, after purchasing a new G5422TG. I like it so much that I had to get another, but radically different one, so I bought the Firebird for my 60th birthday. This is a very nice guitar, it is very articulate and clean, especially when played fingerstyle. There is ample string spacing to allow for clear chording, and the neck set is comfortably low. The tuning is actually very stable, considering that it has a B7 Bigsby with a tension bar.
