Modifications

I added a Compton solid brass compensated bridge and vintage gold Gretsch tuners with the G and arrow on the back.

Unusual factory features

No, it was all factory when I bought it brand new but the stock tuning gears were a little "Cheesy" so I replaced them to help with keeping it in tune when using the Bigsby.

No real story. I waited 56 years to buy one after countless other guitars. I remember seeing a guy playing in a band at a carnival with a Country Gentelman that was walnut in color and I said to myself this is the most beautiful guitar I had ever seen and wanted one really bad but never got around to getting one. So 56 years later I see this Electromatic in Imperial walnut stain finish and I said my life road is getting short, it's now or never. Price was more than right and BAM I made it happen. Best guitar I have ever owned and over all these years I have owned better than 80 guitars. Just plain love it. Lesson is... better late than never
