Bought it for my wife to play. It was in horrible shape. Binding rot, green stain faded to brown, missing Sonic Boom treble boost, cracked head stock, smelled like it’s been in a Casino all it’s life. Good news is I only paid about what a Bigsby was worth for it. It sat in a corner completely apart for 20 years. This year(2019) I finally overhauled it. New binding. The only original piece is the tiny one at the end of the fretboard. Refinished with new stain and lacquer. Found an intact wiring harness with the working treble boost. The finish is not perfect, but it’s now my bar guitar. Still trying to get my wife to play it. But she’s spoiled with her SG.
Love it, and the story! My favorite guitar is my ‘67 Rally.
