This has a non-original Bigsby with a Chet arm. It may also have a non-bone nut, I'm not positive.

This guitar was purchased from a music store in Illinois. They sold the guitar new to the original owner, who passed away several years ago. He was a jazz player and wanted a Bigsby like Chet had. The guitar was gigged extensively for many years. The original owner took very good care of his guitar and it plays and sounds terrific.
The music store owner told me he called Gretsch and Duke Kramer handled the order.
The serial number on this guitar is identical up to the last two numbers (hidden) of another 6122-1958 posted by Kahuna. I've emailed him to see what the last two numbers are on his serial number. They may have been made at roughly the same time.
This guitar/model sounds really different than my other Gretschs and has a very nice Chet vibe!
Beautiful Gent. Love the -58’s.
Gorgeous!
