The binding around the body is in terrible condition, but the fingerboard binding and pickguard binding are excellent.

Split diamond inlays at frets 5, 7, 9 12
Synchromatic bridge and tailpiece; tailpiece has Gretsch etched at base.
Serial number (?) 6503 stamped into the top edge of the headstock- Added to Gretsch-GEAR

This is 100% not a Synchro model 100. It is a combination of an American Orchestra model 65 (neck) and a model 75 body and hardware. Not unusual to find 1939/40/41 Gretsch guitars with mixed features from various models.
I agree— I’d re-classify it as a model 75.
