It’s actually a Bacon Belmont (Gretsch made). The site didn’t have bacon in its options:). Even has Bacon Belmont written on the tailpiece. Lovely, lovely guitar

Hey Gaz… these B&B (Gretsch) models had their serial numbers hand-penciled inside the body, visible thru the bass-side F-hole. These are typically 3 digit numbers. Might you be able to increase the value of your database entry by documenting that serial number?

yep, youre totally right.starts with a 3 but it;s obscured by whats left of the Gretsch label.I know its July 1952 because I had the neck reset,The date is stamped on.

Thanks for that insight about the neck stamp… that helps a lot!
