Modifications

I’ve added Stew Mac’s vintage drop in strip tuners, they fit very well and probably work better than the originals which did not come with the Guitar.

This Guitar was supposedly bought from Fred Gretsch in New York by the original Owner who was a Jazz player in New Orleans prior to retiring in Arizona. It has been played a lot. My Jazz Box builder Luthier, brought it back to life. It looks like it’s had a hard life, but has great genetics :-) Now that it’s set up right with flat wounds, it’s a blast to play. I had been looking for a decently priced Guitar I could leave at our Cabin that I could really "bond" with. I can honestly say that this Guitar IS the one. Its so much fun to play. I can highly recommend this model.
