I added a TV Jones T'Armond and a TV made harness. Found period correct tuners and tail piece. I added a sound post instead of the missing brace.

Unusual factory features

The word ELECTROMATIC was misspelled as ELFCTROMATIC.

It is being referred to as the long lost Gretsch Elf model.

It's a pre-Streamliner, as it has a 3.25" depth body and no headstock adjustable truss rod and cover and no 1st fret block.

It's actually a pre-Streamliner, with the extra deep body. I found this on eBay thanks to alert GDPer lx and it was misidentified as a 6185. Some previous owner sanded off the sunburst finish. When I got it, it had some no-name pickup, deteriorating harness, no tailpiece or tuners. One (bass side) brace was missing.

It’s sure a worthy project to take on. All the best wishes for a successful accomplishment!
