Found at Rivington Guitars in NYC. I picked it out for its sound alone really. It's loud warm voice and palpable resonance actually startled me when I strummed the first chord... so now I own it. I'm a player not a collector, so I was glad to get this "cheap" model that nobody wants. The refinish looks as if it was done a long time ago, some of the original black is still visible in the deeper grains on the sides and headstock, and some nice figuring was revealed on the back panel. I prefer a natural finish aesthetically and the not-so-perfect re-stain gives this guitar a really cool aged look and a little mystery.
