Modifications

Came modified with a TV Jones - put my 1978 7627 TK300 Supertron in its place.

Sounds much better

Bought it from a seller in Australia - went missing in the mail - post office was processing insurance when it arrived.

This instrument is a beast at 11 lbs. Must be Gretsch's biggest bass ever (it is bigger than the gentleman 6070) Beautiful tone.

Serial number makes the vintage April of 1976 (110th guitar made that month).

For both of your Broadkaster basses, I’ve created the proper model category and made the necessary change on each— they now show in the 7605 and 7606 model sections respectively.

I had one also — huge and heavy but very cool

They are huge but- 11 lbs - but the tone is unbeatable. This one has flats and the 7605 has rounds. These basses live up to their name - cut through a loud drummer - not with volume but the tone cuts right through the drummer and the screaming les Paul.
