- Modifications
added bigsby, harmony bridge on a rosewood base, graphtech graphite nut, sperzel tuners, dunlop straplocs and a ut sticker.
the guitar was near mint when i got it more than twenty years ago. sure i know a collector would chastise me for the mods, but i knew i would always have the guitar.
besides, a gretsch without a bigsby is like a day without sunshine. the original nut was badly cut. the sperzel tuners are replacements for the replacements. the university of texas sticker was a gift from some friends. originally i was going to put it on the case, but the steer head kinda looked gretschish: so on the body it went.
- Unusual factory features
i once heard all gretschs are transitional, but the guitar has all the specs just as they are suppose to be.
