The label says this is C.A. Prototype. It's been determined that this guitar was made for Chet Atkins.

This guitar's top matches the guitar pictured on the magazine ad showing Chet Atkins holding a Super Axe. This, combined with the label has led Ed Ball to conclude this was Chet's guitar.
