This guitar has had the Grover Imperial "stairstep" tuning buttons changed out by the prior owner for Grover Imperial "kidney" buttons, presumably to make it more Chet-correct.
Also, it has a copper Tru-Arc™ rocking bar bridge.
- Unusual factory features
TV Jones pickups are standard on this model. There is a TVJ Super'tron pickup at the neck, and a Plus HT at the bridge. The Plus HT, however, is not really a Hi-Lo'tron pickup; rather, it is a Classic Plus.

This guitar was originally owned by long-time GDP member, Tom Sitler. After Tom passed away rather unexpectedly, his wife, with the assistance of another GDPer, Diggey, sold some of his guitars through the GDP so that Tom's friends on this site would be able to own them. I was fortunate enough to acquire Tom's Country Gentleman and am honored to be able to make this guitar continue to create music. The proceeds from the sale of Tom's guitars were used by Helen to fund camp scholarships for youngsters.
