No real story that I'm aware of. Just was in a local shop. Long and Mcquade Vancouver. Bought it on the spot. The guitar weighs next to nothing and has an incredible clean tone. Seriously gnarls up with volume increase on any amp I've tried it on. Great guitar. wear marks on the back of neck suggests a strummer who loved the key of G/C. Update. according to serial numbers i found here, it makes this a 1968 6101

If the serial number is “unknown” on your Blackhawk… how are you able to determine that it’s from 1969? The color is black BTW.
