The serial number says it should be a 58, however the pick-up is one of the smooth style without the patent which are usually associated with 1957.

I've always wanted a vintage jazz axe. Bought a 1960 tennessean for my rock and roll band and loved the vintage feel so much that just had to have one for jazz as well. Grabbed this one, because it's the only streamliner I've ever seen that has the exact same body dimensions and electronic scheme as the 1960 tennessean....essentially making this mirror images of themselves. I figured the pair was too good to pass up.
