In two weeks I will install TVJ T-Armond's and a newly developed bridge by Mat Lewis, the Embie-matic Stovebolt in unanodized, polished aluminium.
- Unusual factory features
This is a G6134 MC Blue "Motor City" Penguin. 8 were made in this color, 8 in Pink, 8 in Red and 8 in Black. Most were sold into the Japanese market.
Visually, it is the most spectacular guitar I have seen since I started playing in 1973.
I have owned and loved 3 other Terada-built guitars. They are/were all superb. What an incredible place!
Everything about it feels like a "Golden Era," U.S. Built instrument. I compared it with another guy's USCS Penguin.
Aside from the typically horrid Factory Dyna's and Melita (being replaced w/TVJ's and a custom bridge soon), in terms of playability, fit and finish, even acoustic volume, we both agreed this was the hands-down winner.
I consider this validation of what we all know, Terada builds some of the best guitars in the world. Hard for me to play anything else.

All I know is the guy I dealt with in Japan on this was top notch. The guitar came to me in flawless shape, brand new from the factory, with all original Japan-market docs.
