The bridge, knobs, pickguard and electronics are new. Curt Wilson from Old School Guitar Repair, Restoration & Lutherie refinished the guitar in a metallic purple nitrocellulose.

A friend from work saw me play a show of my original songs and on one of the songs I played guitar while sitting behind the drums and playing the drums with my feet. He said he has never seen anything like that and felt inspired to give me his old guitar that was sitting in his garage for over a decade. It was covered in a thick varnish that looked like a 1970's coffee table and was missing the bridge and the electronics. The original pickguard was also cracked, the neck was pitted and the frets were worn. I took it to a local luthier named Dave Zaslov (www.2ndchanceguitars.com) who basically rebuilt the guitar. Since it had no visible serial number anymore I decided to give it a custom electronics layout which moves the pickup selector switch out of the way of the Bigsby and has Curt Wilson from Old School Guitars finish it in a Gretsch Setzer Hot Rod style purple.
