Info received from E.B., when I asked about the meaning of -5 in the model number : The “5” is just part of the model number. They used separate model numbers for the two available finishes (6014 = sunburst, and 6015 = natural finish), but in ‘52 and ‘53 they used a combined model number (6014-5) for both.

Belonged to my father who bought it in the 50"s.

This is actually a non-cutaway body style, and as an acoustic model does not have pickups (so no Dynasonic). The “5” is just part of the model number. They used separate model numbers for the two avaiable finishes (6014 = sunburst, and 6015 = natural finish), but in ‘52 and ‘53 they used a combined model number (6014-5) for both. If you have access to the model number that means there is a label in this guitar… why is the serial number unavailable?

Are my answers about Fretboard and bridge accurate? If somebody notices some errors, please let me know. The serial number is indicated on the label inside the guitar.

The bridge is a rosewood compensated.

Hi Baxter The choices I see are Wood compensated and Rosewood adjustable saddle, which one is it? Thanks JC
