This Guitar is one of the few late #284 batch `58 models to have been fitted with the new for `59 slightly narrower, 1 piece Headstock, the face of it is also a much lighter colour to any others I`ve seen. It has the `59 model year cross slot Bigsby bolt aswell.

I think this Guitar could tell a million stories, if it could, its been well and truly played & gigged its whole life so far, a whole load of tabacco staining on the binding, from all those old smokey clubs I reckon!, but its been loved, and cared for too, and is still in lovely, playable and structurally sound condition. I found an old Paper/Magazine cutting that had been well and truly wedged inside the body for a good number of years,....... I fished it out, and it had the printed words to
Long Tall Sally, that had been cut out, and the other side had a picture of 2 members of
The Platters, so I reckon it`d been there more or less since the Guitar was new in late 1958, and that its 1st owner was likely a Rocker!, MAYBE even recorded with it??.....
