I really am enjoying my 1962 Vintage Gretsch 6022 Jumbo Rancher Acoustic guitar LEFT Handed. It came from the factory as left handed with double pickguards & double fret markers, I also have the original hard shell case. It also has a removable original DeArmond pickup of the same age & condition. As you may know, this model was first introduced in 1954, and left handed versions are very hard to find, if not impossible . It’s 17” - wide body adds to its gorgeous look and provides a big, pronounced tone. The finish is in great shape, and has the original natural / orange look. This appears to be a nice example of a hard to find acoustic! From looking around the web not everyone is a fan of the 6022 Rancher sound, however, this one plays exceptionally and has nice, natural feel. It was originally owned by Slim Williams, a country music performer from the 50’s and 60’s and has his name on the case. If you know of any other vintage factory produced left handed guitars by Gretsch, I would love to hear about it.
