When I first started listening to The Living End, I fell in love with the sound of the Gretsch guitars Chris Cheney plays, especially the White Falcons. When I found out he was getting his own signature model released, I nearly lost my mind!

When one finally came to Derringers music (my favourite music store, Im good friends with the manager) I would go in and stare at it, or play it if looking wasnt enough (most of the time) but not being a man of money, I coudnt afford to take it home.

On my 20th birthday I recieved a very special gift from my girlfriend of 3 years. She had schemed with my friend at Derringers, and gotten my dream guitar for me. I finally had my Gretsch home and I love it more than almost anything in the world, the only thing I DO love more is the woman who bought it for me.

2 years later I got her back for that, I went to Derringers and ordered her a Jaco Pastorius Signature Fretless Fender Jazz Bass, now we are even
