corrected the wiring of the kill-switch so that it can work properly > parallel to the hot-tip of the output-jack and ground.

Unusual factory features

the kill-switch was wrong wired. It was directly in serial between Volume pot and the hot-tip of the output-jack connected. That causes extreme humming when applying the kill-switch. Suspect that there was no quality-control at the end of factory production-process - that is (sorry) just POOR QUALITY
