"It seemed, however, that FMIC/Gretsch was experimenting with the concept of limited-edition guitar production, when at the 2006 NAMM show they displayed the G6120FTW Filter’Tron Western. This design was rumored to have been a prototype for the Reverend Horton Heat signature model released the previous year. Evidence that may corroborate this claim includes the fact that the serial numbers on the G6120FTW guitars disclose that they were produced in September of 2004. These guitars possessed all the features and attributes of the G6120RHH, with the exception of a bar-style bridge instead of the Adjusto-Matic, a more standard gold signpost pickguard, trestle bracing, and gold- plated hardware. Supposedly only 48 total units of this model were made and their introductory MSRP was $4125."Thanks Ed for giving me this information.
