This guitar was given to me by Gretsch and Joe Carducci at the GDP Nashville Roundup in Sept/Oct of 2011. I actually won the guitar through the random drawing giveaway that Joe hosted. This is also the second guitar that I've attained this way-- In 2008 I won a 6130KP Knotty Pine Roundup model. How lucky can a guy get?
Three cheers for Gretsch/FMIC!
Oh yeah, I christened the guitar as "BELLE", in honor of the lovely lady who shook my pick out for the win! The guitar now sports a custom (Paul Setzer) trussrod cover with the lady's name inscribed.
