I bought this guitar from Island Guitars, Honolulu, Hawaii on 6 August 1985. It is a model of guitar favored by cowboy singer "Red River Dave". The actual model name of this guitar is the Synchromatic 400F. This very guitar is featured in Jay Scott's book "Gretsch, The Guitars of the Fred Gretsch Company" on page 28.
