The Guitar didn't look like it had ever been used. The nut was glued on kind of poorly -probably had fallen off at som point and just slapped back on. I Put on a brass nut and Duane E bigsby arm. Tru Arc low rider is on it at times.
- Unusual factory features
Has a solid 2- piece maple top ."USA Custom" on truss rod cover. Fancy Binding. Nitro cellolose finish.

Looking for my first Gretsch , a B S tiger green ,this came up on ebay. I Googled the the model, 6120-1955 ,and found a long tread about this Gretsch right here on the Gretsch pages ,(which I never had heard of).
I made the seller an offer , and they took it.
Still haven found out what the story is with these. Where were they made ? Nobody seems know.
The seller didn't know anything about the guitar , she was selling a bunch of things for an estate in southern California.
The seller also had a B S model for sale. She mixed the cases when taking photos for the auction- so the white deluxe case it should of had, ended up with the other Gretsch ! (and he didn't want to give it back !) It also spent a month at LAX airport while in the mail. Tracking is great.
