Everything on this guitar is either original, or a correct repro. The pickguard and TRC are repro. The G-String tuner was incorrect when I posted the original picture but after searching for a year and a half I found the correct tuner so it is as close to original as I can get it.

So, my '67 Gretsch Monkee's Rock 'n Roll Guitar... is now as close to stock as I can get it... the tuner for the G string was the last thing I needed to get and it was delivered today (01/21/2012)... its had the wrong tuner for close to 39 years... that tuner was the last piece of the puzzle..HOOOORAAAAY... I started looking for the tuner a year and a half ago and finally found it !!! Thanks Steve the Guitar Guy (The Benevolent Mr. Senerchia) for the tuner and and Paul Setzer for the pick guard and truss rod cover. Those were hard to find.

My father gave me this guitar and an Ampeg Reverb-Jet amp as a grammer school graduation gift. It was my first "real" guitar. I'd played rented acoustics and a crappy electric for 5 years before getting it. As I write this (in 2015) I have the guitar for 42 years and it still feels and sounds great :-D
