- Unusual factory features
Hand Polished Black 'Duco' Finish and Gold Plated Hardware. Bindings are white/black/white/gold sparkle. F-Holes are bound with white and gold sparkle binding. It also has flat 'waffle' bracing on the back and a thin 'soundpost' under the bridge.
I bought this Falcon from Zone Music in Cotati, California in 2007. It was love at first site! It is purported that Duke Kramer claimed that only 100 of these black double cutaway Falcon IIs were made for a Gretsch anniversary in Feburary 1992.
