Modifications

It was originally Cadillac Green and G Tailpiece. In 1975 I had it re-finned to black and added the Gold Bigsby. I have the original gray case with the maroon interior. It never had the Gretsch tag on the outside.

Unusual factory features

No mutes. Paul Setzer's was just a few #'s away and is quite different.

This guitar was originally owned by Jim Valley (Harpo in The Raiders). I am the 2nd owner and have had it since 1966. It was used in Jim's group, The Viceroys, which was an instrumental group that played in the NW in the early 60's and had a local hit called "Granny's Pad".
