When I first started doing studio work in my late teens one my mentors was an incredible veteran session guitarist people called "The Rev". He played a Bill Lawrence Stratocaster but always spoke about 2 of his all time favourites - The Country Gentleman, and the White Falcon. I always think of him when I pick this up. Man he could play. I thought about the winged headstock when I was looking to buy, but I think the understated stock and the thumbnail markers would meet with Rev's approval. Now I just gotta get me one o' them there Country Gents....
