Had a friend with a Black Duo Jet in high school in the early 70s. Saw a Gretsch in a guitar store in Key West which brought back memories, so when I saw this guitar listed as a new used guitar at the local Guitar Center, my neighbor Pete and I when over. The guitar was cosmetically perfect and played great, so I couldn't resist and added it to my collection. The only problem was that the nut was less than ideal and the guitar intonation was off so I had the Guitar Shop in DC set it up and replace the nut.
