Modifications

Custom built tailpiece (by previous owner, a relative) - he didn't like the Bigsby (I found the original fixed arm sawed off in the case pocket!). The tailpiece was replaced with a new B3 that I roughed up and relic'd. I hope to find a vintage B3 for it.

Filled-in holes from the original Melita posts under the Bigsby bridge.

Poor neck reset (done in 1964) will be re-done eventually. Also needs a refret.

Unusual factory features

Original late 1953 script headstock logo, Dynasonics, smooth knobs.

Truss rod nut uses drum wrench (square head). Previous owner made a special tool/adaptor so a regular allen wrench could be used if a drum wrench was not available.
