TOM replaced with Tru-Arc AL-120.
- Unusual factory features
I haven't pulled the pups to check the magnets. My assumption that they are ceramic rather than alnico is based on the production date and the fact that the pole piece screws have round, not filister-heads. Pup covers are stamped with patent # 2892371.
Tuning machines have Grover Rotomatic-type buttons but bodies are smaller with G-Arrow on the back.
All hardware is gold. Frets are vintage-size.
There is unusual, kerfed bracing running down the inside surface of the guitar's back (visible through the F-holes) but no kerfing where the top and sides or the back and sides are joined.

What is the story on the Gold LP? Is it a 1979-ish Deluxe with P-90’s?
