This is Chet Atkins personal and favorite recording and performing Gretsch from 1959 onward. The real deal, currently residing in the Country Music HOF
Prototype Chet handlePrototype Super TronBrige pickup rewound to 8KNo tone switchTone pot addedKidney bean tuners added as an upgrade. One known refret to taller frets.
Screw anchored Bigsby (small screw through the spring cup)
Has the old style thumb screws on the bridge with one small modification. The originals had rocker ends on them which made them tricky to set up. Chet's had ball ends which made setup much easier.
Late in its career he had Paul Yandell install a phaser inside the guitar. (red switch by the Bigsby)
