9231 Bobtail steel square-neck
The Roots Collection G9231 Bobtail offered an all-steel body with the Gretsch aluminum AmpliSonic Spider cone diaphragm, mated to a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. It also included a Fishman Nashville pickup for easy amplification. This model is identical to model 9221, with the exception of the square neck for traditional lap-style play.
