In 1998, I visited the Grand Opening of the Guitar Center in League City/Webster. They had about five different Gretsches on sale - but looked to be floor models. The volume knob on this one was loose, and so the price on it was $1100. Those days, a hollow body Gretsch under $1500 was pretty rare.
