In late 2003 Gretsch dropped the Synchromatic line, so the the 1570 Synchromatic Easton Jet became the 5570 Electromatic Easton Jet. The only noticeable difference was a B70 Bigsby in place of the 1570's B700. In 2004 production moved to China for awhile, but when Elliot left Gretsch the 5570 was done. The last few went out the door with plain truss rod covers, removing any traces of Easton from the model.
