Sounds unique! Can you play it through an amp with some gain on it sometime??? I'd like to hear it cranked up a bit. Sounds kind of Metalish to me or am I getting old?

It can be played metal, but it'll take some more practice to get the muting down so everything is clear.
I was just messing around with a thought. It's still pretty fresh.

Pretty cool Pappy.
It reminds me of a riff that Paco De Lucia, Al Di Meola, and John McLaughlin played on one of their records, with two other guitars playing on top of it, though I could see it being played metal as well.
What happened to the pick guard? It makes that Annie yours.

Whoa! Pappy I'm honoered! What did I do to deserve being seranaded by you in your PJ's? Don't feel to bad about the thumb cramps mine bend too far backwards at the first knunkle. It gets mightily uncomfortable at times. I guess I fell asleep too many times in school with my thumbs propping up my forehead!
Thank You!

Annie (the daughter) was starting to grab at it and trying to pull it off the guitar so I had to take it off for preservation's sake.

Well, when we were in Nashville we were talking about Dan Duffy practicing in his bathroom for the reverb and you said something about how you can't argue with the shitter reverb.
It sounds weird, but now when I'm playing in the bathroom I think of that comment and laugh.
Shitter reverb. hehehe.

I had this band(220 pounds of swingin' hound) record some of their record at my house, and they like to places for ambient sound: The upstairs bathroom for reverb, and the attic staircase for a great natural slapback.

I might have said something like that but I don't remember it. it's along my lines of thinking though!
Speaking of reverb I'm taking the Ambassador to the Jersey gig next weekend and I hope someone is going to record it. The reverb is sweet and I'm not really a reverb type of guy. I was window shopping yesterday for a Mullard 12at7 for a reverb driver. Just may have to wait a bit for that.

Best reverb I ever heard was with my Microcube in the parking lot of the King of Prussia mall. That building just resonates!

Hey Pappy, I really enjoyed reading some of your blog entries. You are writing with great candor and self-observation, with some wit mixed in to make it even more enjoyable. Keep it up!

Pretty cool Pappy. That's a lot of work -- MY thumbs were cramping and I was only watching!
