Vintage Syncromatic with Dynasonics

Who had that guitar? I'm hoping to see a photo of it, unless it was a dream. I'm thinking of doing the same to my Syncromatic. Any photos???? Thanks!

No dream. All vintage ('50's) amplified Gretsch hollowbodies including Jets had Dynasonics. Nothing but until around '57/8. And that dreamy tone is a reality.

I'm assuming this is a modern Synchromatic? There have been a few different models.

Check out the '51 to '55 catalogs. And welcome to Dynasonics.

Thanks much!

You mean like this? Don't own it anymore, but a fine instrument.

Wow! Mine's not that nice. It's a restored non-cut.

I was thinking maybe this thread would be about that blinged-out non-cutaway late '40s, early '50s Synchromatic with dual DeArmonds and some other custom flourishes. It was a high end model, maybe a 300 or 400, or Fleetwood or Eldorado. And IIRC, it appeared to be a factory made custom guitar. Anybody else remember that one?
