TK-300 I've never ever seen one before and I think it's kinda cool looking.
Is it priced well? Worth buying? Collectible?
Any info would be appreciated (I'm wondering whether it's postponing buying my Brian Setzer 6120SSU for it).

I can't seem to get your link to work.
sorry, try the new one
What Gretsch is famous for is their 1950's design of the ultimate rock and roll guitar: a hollowbody in a flashy color, with twangy (dearmond or filtertron) pickups and preferably a Bigsby vibrato.
The TK300 is not like that at all, it is a slab body, with screaming (DiMarzio made ?) humbucking pickups, and whacky assymetric 70's styling.
I am not saying that a TK300 is not a good guitar, I am sure some members here might dig one. But if it is a 6120SSU that you are after don't buy the TK300 just because it sais Gretsch on the headstock.
BTW prices for the TK300 are something like $400-800 depending on condition and especially where you buy it. £549 is outrageous, but then again most UK vintage guitar dealers seem to think that their clients are overpaid idiots with no access to the internet and incapable of comparing prices worldwide.
no AND! NO!,buy a epiphone (any) the tk300's have very little to do with the gretsch lore other than the name on the head stock, with the money you would spend you'd be better off getting a electromatic of some kind
inless of course you really dig plain sounding oddball guitars?

Thanks, guys, I was just wondering as if it was a good deal I'd sell it on and then get the 6120
But if it's overpriced...Sod it.
