Yep, they showed up for a brief time, I believe in late '67.
Not terribly surprising from a company that let a guitar go out with a "GERTSCH" logo and referred to a Bigsby as a "Bixby" in its literature.

Thanks for that afire.I thought I might have bought a ring-in.Just purchased a Country Gent and never noticed the Country Gentlemen logo til I got it home. That also dates the guitar pretty well as I thought it was a '62-s/n 47409

Is the SN on the back of the headstock? If so, then it dates to April of 1967. If the SN is on the brass logo plate, then that's another matter. If that's the case, then the guard may not be original, and it may be a '62. Where's the SN, and does it have a single mute or double mutes?

I used to own a '68 Country Gentlemen(according to the pickguard), but that was many years ago. According to the SN it was a September 1968 model. They're out there, just fortunately not very prominent.
