btw all i meant by this is that many people use ebay for advertising, and if you actually call them with the intention to buy, you can usually negotiate a nicer price. I have bought several guitars from Southside in person, and while they're not the cheapest in the world, they're always fair. Same goes for the other brooklyn CC in this thread from Retrofret.

I don't know about that. Those guys seem content to relist stuff indefinitely.
When you're serious about something, it makes a difference if you pick up the phone.
