Case restoration

This is the original cowboy case for my 59 6120 . The case is structurally intact and solid it basically just needs an outside covering as all the white material covering has came off .Would anyone know where I might could get this covered here in the US? Thx -

Right on! Any chance around Raleigh/Durham? I’m just north of Ft Bragg but my friends who own and operate Guru Guitars in Raleigh across from the fairgrounds have a multitude of connections for vintage stuff and could probably help with getting you in the right direction for recovering this case.Or if you’ll contact Mojotone and see if they could help you could take a trip to Burgaw NC.

Yeah man and if you need any work done they are some of the best in the state ,especially with vintage stuff. Not sure how close you are but they are worth the drive. And if you need any amp work and you’re around the capitol area hit up Yontz @ https://www.madscienceworks...

Although TonyB is in the UK, this old thread is one of the greatest things I've ever seen on the Gretschpages and I'm sure you'll find it interesting.

I lived in Raleigh NC for two years, and was super disappointed in the vintage guitar scene (or lack thereof) in the area. I wish I would have known about Guru Guitars back then, sounds like a cool place.

Looks like the case for my long-gone '59 6120. S/N 29388. Is it?

Could not agree more.

Geez... that nice work. Looks like a case restoration may take more work than a guitar restoration...
