how many of these were made? are they collectable?

Well... I've documented only two 50 unit batches of these for the 1956 model year. One at #18000-18049 and the other at #20200-20249. The catch... these were intermingled with model 6022 Ranchers. So, it's anyone's guess as to exactly how many 1956 Town & Country's were produced, but you know it's less than 100.

Are they collectible... that's a relative thing. Not sure any of us would pass on one if it was offered for $250, but if the question is if they are highly coveted by Gretsch fans, probably not. I would guess they fetch $1500-2500 depending on condition. Just one man's opinion... feel free to speak up if anyone feels differently.
