Isn't New Kings Road the father/son ripoff operation?

The fact that they are representing this guitar as a Country Gentleman kind of defeats their credibility as a knowledgable seller right off the bat. So how does that give anyone confidence that anything else they are claiming is accurate?

4

Looks as if there are filled holes underneath the finish at the back of the headstock ?

No it isn't.

You're probably mixing things up with The Harrisons and Music Ground.

So far as I'm aware there's no connection.

There are definitely filled screw holes just above the truncated ears of the tuning machines. Those are modern Grovers that have been artificially aged; the old ones had full-sized ears on both sides. The re-issues did for a couple of years as well, maybe 2014-16-ish.

I did mix 'em up. Thanks for the correction and no offense intended to New Kings Road.

Yeah, heard stuff about them. Music Ground -- if they are still around -- also.
